    Pretty sure on my 86 and 05 I just got under the seat with wire cutters and done!
    However all the new high tech stuff is tricky and I hate beep beep telling me I'm crossing a line etc. That line warning was easy as there is a switch for it, but dang seatbelt beeper drives me crazy.
    If I'm in the woods deer hunting and stop to check some tracks or a trail and get back in every deer within a half mile likely hears it too. Plus my dog rides with me to work, fishing etc. and always sets it off. PIA

    Any ideas on disabling this?

    The Carista app with a cheap Bluetooth adapter or TechStream with a Tactrix adapter will allow you to do any dealer customizations. See the 1st Post of the ECU update thread for more Customization info.

    You could also beg the dealer, but they are generally resistant to turn it off.

    Right on! That is about what I paid 7yrs ago. The tech has not really changed since OBDII happened in 1996. It is a fair price for what it is.


    Similarly, the Tactrix is fairly priced for its capability and hardcore reliability. Cheap for what it can do, if you're into that sort of thing. :D

    The seat belt chime delete was an option for me when I got my KDMAX PRO tune. I think it may have been when my tuner updated the factory toyota ECU update before the KDMAX was applied but he set it up so it doesn't chime anymore. it has been awesome.

    We do a lot of upland bird hunting where we drive around on dirt roads and have to jump out. We're never going much more than 15mph and these are great for that. Anytime we're going over 20mph we put seatbelts on.

    Yeah or just plunking along going slow off down a dirt road looking for the next fishing hole. Been a few years since I have done those passes in Colorado. We do have stuff similar here in Idaho that is a touch sketchy. Rather not be strapped in.

    Daily use running around, yeah seat belt is definitely on. Too many dumbasses out there that are clueless drivers…next week we are supposed to get bunch of snow and single digit temps, all the Californians that recently moved here that never seen snow should make it highly entertaining. lol! Buckle up!
