Added a v-band to a turn down tip this morning and made it where i can run the TRD catback with my x-runner rear sway bar.

I failed to update this, so here it goes. Got the old alternator pulley off about a month ago after a long fight. I ended up having the pulley with the lip on my stock one for reference. My truck is a 2013 sport with the factory tow package. Looks like which pulley you have on your alternator is hit and miss but that's the one i ended up with. Just a little bit of rust/corrosion on that lip on the pulley made removing it a real pain in the rear.

Spec Stage 2+ (ST913H) clutch, new URD lightweight flywheel, and URD TOB for their quill repair are getting installed Thursday if all goes as planned. The URD stage 3 has about 30k on it and the clutch engages near the top of the pedal throw when releasing it. Since i no longer trust it to not leave me stranded, it's time to tear it apart and upgrade.

Got the truck torn down today, took about 4 hours. T-case is getting degreased/cleaned up some and im gonna start reassembling tomorrow. I have a rear main seal as well that i didnt do last time i had the trans out, but its going in this time even though the current one isnt leaking.

The clutch looked alright imo but it only has around 30k miles on it. Probably could have got a few more miles out of it, but the engagement point near the top of the pedal made me think the disc was getting thin. Im not really sure what the line in the middle of the disk is on the pressure plate side, but that caught my attention. Maybe some glazing?

Got everything back in and got it fired up after about 4.5 hrs. First impressions are that the pedal feel is much lighter than the URD stage 3. The engagement point is still consistently near the top of the pedal throw, but i havent adjusted the pedal free play yet.

I threw in a new rear main for good measure and this is a URD lightweight flywheel and SPEC stage 2+ clutch

Got to put the new t-case to the test today. Just drove around a little bit, but didnt even have to lock the center diff, plenty of traction to ease around in high unlocked. Also the 40/60 split makes it where you can give it some gas and have some fun if you want to. This has made me want to get the swap in my other truck going sooner than later. Thats probably moving up the priority list, 2wd is just not very good in this stuff

DId you notice any difference w/ those NST pulleys? I just looked at my power steering rack and noticed I have some wetness under the crank pulley. So, I'm assuming that seal is going to need replacing. While I have the crank pulley off, I could always swap it. But is it worth it? Thoughts?

So i'm running the alternator, Water pump/fan, and SC Crank pulley, however, i am still running the stock damper. I didnt notice a big difference after installing, but i dont drive the truck very often, so that could be why. I have considered upgrading the OEM crank pulley to the NST one as well, but i just havent gotten around to it. If you're already going to have things apart though, it'd be a great time to do so! a worthy upgrade IMO, less rotating mass/parasitic drag is always going to be good for power & tq.

Thanks! I've done them on previous cars and always noticed a solid increase. Assumed it would be the same here, but ya never know so figured I'd see what everyone says first. Now go get that crank pulley done! ;)

Built this for the exhaust last weekend. I originally had another one but used it when I built my 2.7L exhaust a few months back so I needed another for this truck. Basically it’s a 3” to 2.5” transition to adapt the y-pipe 3” collector to the 2.5” TRD catback. The one i originally had on the truck was a little longer than the transition that i bought, so I cut a piece of tubing and extended it about 3/4” on the 3” side. Then I added some v-band flanges so it would mate up to the y-pipe and exhaust.

Amazing work! I’m gonna have to quit calling adding Intermittent wipers, fog lights, keyless entry, dual low tone PIAA horns, etc to my SR “mods” after reading this awesome thread lol.

@BassAckwards Do you have any pics of your truck from the side? I'm thinking about removing the lift from mine and going back to stock or lower. You've got a clean looking truck!
