The more I read it seemed like more people suggested them than not. If I’m going to have the shop installing the suspension I figured it made sense to have them replace while they are there. I’d rather have and not need vs need them and not have (if for some reason they can’t get it aligned etc).

Yeah if the shop's going to be in there You may as well pay them for a little bit of extra labor and have them put the UCA's in. They're not the easiest things to get in by yourself.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

Yep, just went through this. It was a pain in the ass to get the UCAs in. Had to do a little bit of cutting.

My rear MRA's came with some thick plastic sleeves that you could use to protect the hoses from rubbing. Did yours not come with those?

I have two plastic sleeves in the box with the rears, but my fronts didn't come with anything like that.

I cut up a hose for the time being, but I want to find something that'll cover it better and maybe look cleaner.

Ah interesting. I figured fronts would have them as well.

How do you like those struts? I've only got the basic Dobinsons ones right now.

Any of you guys using the Dobinsons greasable pins? Should I be worried about debris getting caught in the zerk fittings?

Nope. Nothing really gets into zerk fittings

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
Seconded. I would suggest wiping any dirt off the zerk before adding more grease. Also if the truck is in a salt environment it's not a bad idea to use a scribe or small screwdriver to unseat the ball before greasing.

Seconded. That's how we handle our salt trucks.

Also, grease after any/all water crossings and off road excursions. Couple 2-3 pumps should be good

I have them up front, but unfortunately they don't work with the Hammer Hangers in the rear.

Hello everyone, I currently have the icon coil overs on my Tacoma and was wondering if the Dobinsons coil springs will work on the icon coil over.

I mean, you'll have to take the icon springs off.... Seems like a lot of extra work.

No, they won't fit. Icon runs a different ID as well as flat ground top and bottom
