Before you yell, Ive spent quite a bit of time googling this topic..... So,

My understanding is that our 2.7L trucks (mine is below) are about 800lbs lighter then our V6 counterparts. Given obtained mine came to me from the woods where it was peacefully trying to die, I'm not trading to the bigger engine.

I would like to maintain something close to the stock factory rake unloaded. I normally drive around with a cap and when that is off normally its because Im loading stuff in the back. Level with the cap plus 150lbs would be perfect.

I only want 2-2.25 of lift. Today I run 245/75/r17s.

My plan is to install the following:

Front: 6112 w/ 600lb spring + Control Arms + 3/8 spacer for stupid annoying lean
Rear 5160s w/ Dakar Medium Leaf

    My worries/Questions:

    1) The Dakar 2.75 lift is too large for the back if I use 2-2.25 in the front. Opinions? I want some rake not a crazy amount. Level with the cap on plus 150lbs would be perfect.

    2) Do the 5160s have enough length to deal with the 2.75 lift in the rear? I see them bundled all the time, but I also have read conflicting information that they will be extended too far???

2.5) Is there a good option out there for just +2" on the rear spring?

    3) What setting gives 2in of front lift post settling with the lighter 2.7L trucks. I see 4 on the V6, but should I drop that to 3 with the lighter front end or stick with 4?

    4) Pictures please if you have this setup?
