The new UCA can make the alignment easier and give the clearance needed from the coil over spring when at full droop. The full leaf pack is a better option when it will be continuously carrying extra weight over stock. I went through everything with my 2nd gen (single AAL, 3 leaf AAL with new TSB springs, Dakar mediums and then up to Dakar heavies) and for weight carrying and offroad performance the full pack was worlds better. That said, I went full retard on my 2nd gen and it was heavy and constantly setup to go camp. My 3rd gen with just a topper on it has a 3 leaf AAL to keep the suspension back right about at stock height.

I already did the wheels and tires.....probably the cart before the horse but the original tires were done done and I couldn't stand the OR OEM wheels. I went with Toyo Open Country AT III's in 275/70/17 and Black Rhino Chamber 17x8.5 0 offsets.

Yeah I'm starting to see your point.

For complete disclosure....my 3rd gen already has a heavier rear bumper installed and next year I will have a topper for the damn shedding huskies. Sick of vacuuming literally everyday. I pull a trailer from time to time with (1) snow machine or side by side but its rare I do that as I usually leave them at camp. I could see the full leaf pack if I were towing more frequently and had constant weight in addition to what I already mentioned. I like the idea of the HS 3 leaf but I got to decide on the front. I'm considering the 6112/5100, Icon stage 1 or 2, Toytec Aluma, Old Man EMU kit or EiBach Pro stage 2.
