I recommend rockscale designs linerless mod for the manix2. Theirs a tad difference on it's action.

I can’t wait to tell the whole story after Christmas. This was a custom rush order, which I don’t like doing, but man it turned out great and it has an awesome story.

    Benchmade mini crooked river.
I’ll post up the details and video this weekend after the recipient receives it.

    Here it is!

Benchmade Mini Crooked River with scales made from the teakwood deck of the USS New Jersey!

This was a short notice custom order and I can’t be happier with the outcome. A customer contacted me a couple weeks ago and told me how his father served on the USS New Jersey and he wanted to give his father something special for Christmas. Last year the USS New Jersey was re-decked and you can buy the original teakwood piece from the battleship. Everything came together last minute with shipping the wood and receiving the knife and the outcome was perfect. A beautiful set of teakwood scales for a beautiful knife and a matching teakwood box to top it off.

A nice Video is posted on my Instagram and Facebook

I picked up a couple of Case Slipjoint knives. I like their classic nature and convenience.

Nice work Mark. What kind of wood is that? Looks like a comfortable knife to hold. Excellent proportions :)

thank you. I’m trying really hard.
I’ve got big plans for 2022. I just bought two more desktop CNCs. This will allow me several things. I’ll be able run three machines at a time. That way I can build up a bit of inventory while also working on new models. I’m also hoping this will help free up a little time so I can get back on my large CNC and keep working on my flipper knife.
