I bought this form Shapeways.com to use the factory Tacoma GoPro mount. Worked great, but sold the camera to get a front/rear cam setup & it's a different brand. Used maybe 3 months. When you look on the website it will say $13, but it's another $12 to ship, buy it here for $13 with free shipping CONUS.

I had the VP1 front facing. I guess it worked good, I never had an accident to see if it locked the video at the point of impact. I've got a friend who's traded their car in and got a great price on their Blackvue, not sure which model, so I sold my Rexing and the guy was just going to use the adhesive mount stuff

I currently have this mount and a Rexing V1P 3rd gen dash cam with front and rear camera. Had a deer run out in the dark and actually hit the bedside on the drivers side. The camera caught the deer because of the camera location (My vision was actually blocked by the A pillar and I never saw the deer) and the camera picked up the sound of the deer hitting my truck. The rear camera picked up the sound as well plus captured the deer flying up in the air, landing in the road and then running off. I told the insurance company I had video coverage of the deer but they never requested it for the repair. I'm very happy with the setup.
