Hey all. My family and I were discussing over Christmas a summer trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Was wondering if any had an suggestions on where to go. Looking to book a remote cabin to sleep 4 adults and two young kids. Also looking to take to truck and do a couple nights in the RTT with my fiancé and I.

What are your interests? There's Dollywood and Dollywood Splash Country nearby. Golf courses, aquarium and loads of tourist things to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I camped at Elkmont and Cades Cove a lot growing up. Cades cove is nice for bike rides. I think on Wednesday mornings (can't remember 100% sure the day) they open the loop early for people to bike ride all 11 miles.

We have a 4 year old and 1-1/2 year old so probs will be more suited for kids activities. Fishing definitely on that list too. I’m sort of looking at this trip to experiment with off the grid camping too.

If you are into knives there is always the Smokey Mountain Knife Works located close by.
