I just ordered my 3.0 kings fronts(already have rears) and have roughly 10 months before I get them. I already have my rims(method 306s 18x9) and tires(275/70/r18). The problem is, my tires are due in about a thousand miles and I don't want to buy another set of oem sized tires. Could anyone recommend a cheap, but good 3 in lift (or leveling kit) I can get in the mean time, till I get my kings in? I'm mainly only going mall crawling for now, but I also plan to do a bit of towing(6k pounds and under) I don't plan on going long distance, but comfort would be a bonus. My price range is under 800 bucks.

I’m going to bet on 5100’s being the answer. :)

But that’s just one internet warrior’s opinion.

Just mount those wheels and tires you already have, a lift won't change them fitting properly.

Edit for more info - I have 255/85/16s on 16x8 -12 wheels and they fit fine and don't rub offroad without a lift, a good alignment and some minor trimming and rearrangement of the fender liners. You wheels are a little wider but the overall package has very similar dimensions to mine.

How so? I mean, I don't mind trimming, but I definitely don't want to remove my bumper for more clearance.

Bilsteins seem to be the safe bet, I might have to do a little more digging.

I've heard a lot of people doing the cmc, I guess it's time to take my truck to the shop and get a quote for a cmc. My wheels also have -12mm offset, does this help with fitting tires as well?
