Didn’t see a thread for these, just a few pics scattered through a few posts.

Every time I’ve been wheeling someone rips their stock Tacoma rear bumper off. Before I ruined mine, I wanted to replace it. ATH makes one of the lightest standard rear bumpers out there (trying to keep my truck as light as possible - which is why I didn’t go high clearance) and it appears to offer the most clearance as well.

I paired mine with a set of Diode Dynamics SS3 sports lights in the flood pattern. These do not fit by default, but a couple of minutes with a good carbide burr on an air grinder and they will slide right in.

@Puppypunter was able to source me the factory connector and pigtails for the license plate lights so I was able to wire the ones provided by ATH as clean and as OEM as possible.

It was a huge struggle to do this solo. I used three floor jacks and a ton of patience. I need to make some small adjustments but overall it went in without issue and was easy to line up.

Good communication, great product, faster than advertised lead times. Would definitely buy again!

@aturk Did you take the grinder to the bumper or to the DD light housing?

The lights don't have much material to remove.

Took the grinder to the bumper. It really didn't take much more than maybe 2mm of material off the top and bottom of the existing holes. Nothing needed removed from the sides. Couple quick heavy pressure passes to get the material off, couple light passes to make it look pretty. Here is the set of burr's I used, they worked fantastic for cheap chinese burrs. They do throw a ton of metal chips, so definitely so it away from anything you care about. I have a nice rolling workbench I built for painting and such, so I just wheeled it out in my driveway.

Dang it. Was hoping I could gnaw a little off the light housing rather than the powder coated bumper.

I was in the same boat, grinding on the lights won’t give you what you need. Use a qtip and some nice enamel paint to seal up where you grind the powdercoat off.

I ground down Diode Dynamics light housings and popped them in. Wasn’t keen on messing up the nice powder coat and bumper.
