I'm guessing you don't have a crossbar in place?

That’s kinda what I guessed because I don’t see how these could get tweaked if there’s a crossbar in place.

Hopefully it’s just the hanger that’s bent. If you took a hit that’s hard enough to bend one of these hangers, odds aren’t good for the weak, C-channel frame where the hangers mount.

We’re blessed to have HH, wish Toyota would have blessed us with better frames.

My thoughts as well. I could see the frame twisting with the leverage of the hanger if there’s no crossbar. It would have to be a super hard very specific hit though.

Finally got it done few hours ago.
Glad we only gotta do that once lol but it was worth it.
Have Bilstein 5125s and latest version of the standard OME dakars, the ride is noticeably better.

I had 1.5” blocks for the back but the brake lines will have to be upgraded before I could do that as the stock ones were stretched to the max during install of the hangars.
I've already got the stainless +4" All-pros so I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend.

Looks like I got the notification that mine have been shipped out. I'm pumped. If it comes in the same time as my PTO. Even better:)

Wanted to thank you guys for an awesome product. The quality is outstanding even down to the packaging. What’s even better is the ride compared to before once they are installed. I knew it was going to be good from the reading up I’ve done on them but I didn’t think it would be as dramatic of a difference as it was. Now it’s time to bounce them off some rocks!!

Will moving the hanger to the forward-most position gain more droop with a Dakar pack? Looks like my shackle is the limiting factor currently. It makes contact with the hanger at full droop. Not sure how much I’d gain if any.

The Dakars are capped at 12inches im pretty sure.

Edit: I get 12 and mine are in stock position so i think it wont do anything? Might hurt the travel.

Seemed like if the hanger was forward the shackle could droop a bit more. I have to pull the pack so I may give it a go and see

here’s a pic of mine fully dropped. As you can see the shackle isn’t going any further because the hanger is in the way. It’s completely horizontal.

Same for mine. My thinking is moving the HH to the forward position pushes the shackle back so it could technically droop more before making contact

You're correct, the Dakars are very short springs, but I think you need longer than 12" shocks for it to make a difference

That very well could be. I’ve got to take out some leafs and I’ll see if there’s any shaft left at droop after that.
