    Hey All,

I have a 2013 SR5 V6 DCLB 4WD with 120K miles and an OME 2.5" lift with Dakar leaf springs. Now that she's paid off and broken in, I want to do some upgrades in the following areas:

    Suspension:

    - Rough Country 3.5" lift kit with Vertex Coilovers (seem to be getting solid reviews/feedback)
    - Anything else I should consider?

    Wheels & Tires:

    - Mod: Cab mount chop
    - Tires: Currently Back Country AT 285/75/R16 with 1.25" spacers. I like the look of the Nitto Ridge Grapplers (good reviews).
    - Wheels: Currently stock wheels. I like the more squat aggressive look. What would be my best options with the Nittos?
    - Anything else I should be looking at?

    Headlights:

    - Any other ideas?

I mostly drive on streets and freeway with forays onto OHV routes for camping trips, etc. I plan to get a bit more adventurous after this round of upgrades - not rock crawling but solid OHV wheeling.

    Any inputs/advice is much appreciated!

    Thanks!

Not familiar with this alternator wiring mod/issue. Can you elaborate?

Just checked some forums and it looks like an upgraded (100 to 130 amp) alternator comes with the tow package. I have the tow package.

Why? OP doesn’t list anything that is high current usage.

OP, Taco 422 is referring to upgrading the alternator wiring from the alternator to the battery and the fuse box. I don’t think it’s extremely necessary for you, but if you want, 5-6 ft of 4gauge copper wire and 4 appropriate lugs would do. Look under the stickys above for the “Big 3” wiring upgrade. Don’t worry about the starter. Concentrate on the alternator wiring.
