Whenever I turn my steering wheel to the right at all it creaks under Truck

    So It started when I went to back up out of a restaurant. I shifted into reverse then turned right and it was creaking and its just getting louder I don't want to keep driving, I thought it was the tie rod but I looked at it but it didn't look damaged at all. I saw this other thing that looked like a tie rod but smaller and shorter above it I will attach a picture of it, it looks like the boot on this thing is broken but its still lubricated and it doesn't look damaged like its made to do that. If you know what it could be please let me know I will be up for 5 more hours after I post this at 7:30pm central US.[​IMG]

    no they dont, it may not be that i have no idea its just when i turn right and only then do i hear and feel a creaking sound

    I found out it was a broken ball joint
