    My wheels are a bit wide for airing down that much, it more risky than more of a stock sized wheel. At least that's how it's been with my experience.

    Lighter trucks are usually fine with lower pressures, if people are really struggling in snow I'll advise 10psi.

    However this is only on snow that isn't full of rocks and stumps. Or deep ice ruts that will pull your truck around causing side loading on the tire. Those are usually what causes a bead to unseat.

    Carry a spare or learn how to seat a bead with starting fluid and a lighter. I learned to do it in ideal conditions, so it's not a learning experience in a blizzard.
