Take it from me ...... Don't .

 

I used to stay up back when I drank if I could find a party to go to. If no party I’d stay home and drink myself to sleep before midnight. Thank goodness those days are behind me.

 

I never have cared for smoking. I’ve tried a few here and there but can’t stand the smell or taste.

Dr yesterday told me test and quarantine until result is back. I just called work, let them know I wasn't coming in

 

I gotta agree!!

Once very very Long ago a friend wanted me to try I took one puff coughed so bad.

I said people do this to themselves on purpose??

Never again.

I can`t stand to even visit coworkers that smoke it stinks so bad the sad part they are so used to the smell they don`t notice.

I grew up in a house where both parents smoked, I hated it, said I never would. Met a girl who smoked and next thing I know I've smoked for 10 years. Met a girl I wanted to get old with. Quit cold turkey.

 

I would not even ask a girl out who smoked !

i kissed one once and emptied my stomach in a rather violent fashion

 

I figured I would be investing in all sorts of accessories for the lathe and the mill so why not include a place to put them? It worked out well as I added 3/4" on top of the existing 1/2" particle wood then added 1/4" hardboard to the top that can be replaced easily. I added a center support under the workbench and then build two frames, one for each side, to mount the drawers. I still have a few more details to finish.

Thanks for the information. I'm still a ways out from adding the CNC stuff but it's inspiring to know that others are doing the same.

I quit smoking October 8th, also cut WAY back on the beer consumption. I wish I had never started smoking, worst habit I've ever had. I only smoked 5 or 6 a day, but quitting them things was a bitch!

 

I think I can say We are all Guilty of that at least Once!!

Some far to often!!

 

People tell me that is one of the hardest addictions to break!

It only takes one weak moment to start again.

Heh, just realized I will be up at midnight NYE. That's only because I work till 11pm and have a 45 minute drive home. Guess I'll be in the shower when all the yahoos set off guns, fireworks, and the firehouse sets off the siren...
