2013 Tacoma TDR Offroad Automatic. 2.5" lift in the front, 3" lift I the rear, 285/75r16 BFGs
Bought it with drop bracket lift and BFGs (good find). Took it to a shop to weld on a stock frame bracket to undo the drop bracket lift and install a proper spring lift. Hoping to regear to 4.56 and put on front and rear bumpers in the future. Also, of course hoping for a supercharger someday.
Yeah I don't have a great scan tool, just a Bluetooth obdii scanner and the torque app. I can't get the scanner to finish scanning for the right comms signal type and communicate. Checked resistances and scope readings and they all look good. I can't speak to whether it's receiving data from each ecu in the network though.

Yea if the network signals look good you really need a scanner that's capable of talking to all the modules and seeing which ones talk and which ones don't.
Diagrams attached below if it helps.
It looks like the CAN lines for the ECM go through the J19 connector, it might be worth unplugging and having a look for corrosion.

Thanks Dm93, I'll try futzing with the J19 connector today before I go get a nicer scan tool.

I had this issue on a previous vehicle. The fix was some electrical cleaner spray in the port. Those ports are open and will collect all kinds of dust and dirt.
