I think I am going to give up my warm season job. I am a MSF instructor and teach folks to ride motorcycles. It kind of sucks because I like doing it, but it cuts into my recreation time. The school called me today to see what my plans were for the 2022 season...decisions, decisions...

Yea. I work seasonal at a ski resort. I decided not to take the job this year either. Wasn’t feeling it

 

I truly love being on the bikes and helping people learn, it creates new riders and gives them a very safe, structured way to see if this is something they really want to do before making a big investment in something they may hate. However, working Saturday and Sunday at the range is pretty much an all day affair (either 6am to 2 pm or 12pm to 8pm) and you are exhausted by the time it is over. On average, I jog 16 miles a weekend (usually jogging backwards because you can't turn your back on the bikes) when I work two shifts. if I pull a double (4 shifts) it is like doing a marathon a day. Not to mention, we run class rain or shine.

 

Wait, what? I think I've already got 2 polls in the lineup.

Do we need a poll for this? Who else's opinions other than @Delta09 and my own are we looking for?
