Problems with Wiper Arm, Wiper Housing Connection

    Hi Fellow Taco Owners:
    I live at 7,000ft. on Donner Summit. We have had over 10ft of snow in the last week.
    Experiencing problem where the wiper blade housing attaches to wiper arm. There is a little door that opens on the wiper housing that allows the wiper arm to be pulled pulled out the wiper housing.
    I am using factory wipers and the little door on the wiper arm keeps opening up in cold weather and ice.
    Are others experiencing this problem?
    Do non-oem (i.r. Bosch) have a better locking mechanism to attach the wiper balde to the arm?
