Anyone interested in joining me and a few buddies on a trip to Citrus?

If so what weekend in the next few weeks would be best?

They just recently got 4x4's and want to go play off-road, they're super new to wheeling so we would be taking lighter stuff and easier lines.

One of them is a photographer meaning we may be stopping a lot or moving slowly as a group. I do not believe either of them have coms.

Most likely only one day maybe an overnight if there's enough interest for a camp out but I expect it to be cold.

Reply here with which dates would be best for you if interested and or tag anyone whom might also want in on a beginner friendly slow dirt cruise.

Yes it's a poser shot but Citrus looks like that.

P.S. To anyone who hasn't been to Citrus, light trail stripes are almost unavoidable.

Hey! This is an easy going newbie meet! No V8's allowed!

Just kidding, that would be freaking sweet to see in person.

So last weekend of January the 28/29/30th ish sounds great!

Actually one of my buddies rigs is a V8, but he's a dirty freaking Jeep.

    :ohsnap:

Either we camp in the sticks like ye ole covered wagon times, or we could probably take over my uncle's yard 20 minutes up the road for a night.

    :notsure:

I didn't even think the check, I just assumed everything would be open and good.

I imagine the trails got to be open yeah?

How bad is Citrus with pinstripes? I'm waiting on my Goat Armor, so would like to hold off for some added protection.

It can get pretty bad if you go down some of the narrower trails or ones that haven't been trimmed back in a while. Most of the time it's avoidable and I've never gotten stripes that couldn't be buffed out from there but I also stopped caring about trail marks a while ago.

There's a chance we may suddenly find ourselves on a narrow path so if you're really worried about striped you may want to catch the next trip, I believe it will be the Spring Camp and Ride, usually a bigger greet and wheel anyhow.

Yeah sorry man I won't be able to make it either. I'm going to be doing a timing chain on a BMW this weekend. That being said I think we should schedule a trip when there's available sites. I'll pm you so we can figure out a date.

I’m planning February 12th or 13th, nothing fancy, just go run and explore, I haven’t been in months. Or i’ll go alone like usual. Just a shout out.

Everybody bailed last minute per usual so I called it myself as well, if I'm not hung up with house closing then I'm happy to go 12/13.
