went out yesterday and searched our santuary for the one i wounded last week. no dice,but did see buckeye in there.eye has been messed up fir 2yrs

I'm just glad the guys stuck to my kill list, this guy visited them yesterday morning.

 

The wind has been blowing a bit much here last few days, gusting up to 23 to 28mph, looks like the wind will be under 10 mph for most of the day tomorrow.

 

Took an old patio chair the bottom had rotted out of and welded expanded metal and zip tied the packaging the welder came in as a seat. Used a couple ratchet straps to secure it to the tree and to the the stand... I built this ladder like 6 years ago and had a wooden seat on it but the cows knocked the stand sideways and the seat broke in the process... I think I have $12 in everything you see here... If you don't count a grand for the welder packaging lol. Reduce, reuse, recycle or something like that

 

Been windy here as well. Took Cole this evening, we didn’t see any deer.

Recovered slug from the buck I shot Monday. Winchester DeerSeason XP in 308. High shoulder shot. Dropped deer in his tracks (pic isn’t blurry, just super foggy)
