Too much to name for this little space
Background: I have a 4" Zone Offroad drop bracket lift. I have been having ground clearance issues and have been grinding my front skid a ton on trails. The 4 main components effecting this in the kit are the 2 drop brackets for the front differential, the extra large spindles connecting upper to lower control arms, and the 4" upper coil spacer.

Concept: older SUVS, such as the 4runner, can't fit large tires. They simply did not make them to fit large tires (35s, 37s+). So owners typically mix lift kits such as a 3" spacer, 1-2" drop bracket, and even 1-2" body lifts.

Problem: I want the tire clearance of a 4" kit without the terrible ground clearance of the 4" drop brackets. I understand the crossmembers are cut and welding a new piece back in would be a hassle.

Idea: Is it possible for me to have shortened spindles and to only have a 1-2" drop bracket while keeping the 4" coil spacers? Essentially this setup would be to keep the suspension geometry still at +4" but the CV angles are only corrected by 1-2" instead of the 4". This is to gain back 2" of needed ground clearance. Thoughts?
