I like that alot. I have been looking into something like that. I like the rigid chase bar but this has got my wheels turning.

 

I've thought about doing that too. I don't use them, but my wife may or may not need them.

I’m still playing around with the mounting. Just had some plates and stainless stuff lying around. But it works great.

Today I replaced the stock TRD OR wheels with a new set of TRD Pro wheels and replaced two worn tires. I think it’s a huge improvement!

 

I made the same consideration....and decided to ditch them for now. Haha.

This is EXACTLY how I did it. I may have taken 2-3 breaks and walked away lol

 

I use it mainly for my cell phone but any other stuff I get like receipts, paperwork, etc. I put it there so they don’t get lost. The cell phone spot with the charger is tucked under the dash and in front of the gear shift and not real easy to get to. I like having those so I can just set my cell phone in and go. I notice my passengers do the same with their phones on the other side, since they come as a pair and easy access to your phone.

 

After 2 months wait. I got my RSG sliders in yesterday and installed them today. Pretty straight forward, no need drilling.

 

My son handed my a handful of zip ties while I was under the truck zip tying the wire loom and I used all of them he handed me, which was a lot, and got the job done. When I was finished, I noticed there was a ton of zip ties I didn’t use so they must give you a lot of extras.

 

16s? Mind if I ask the cost?

 

If you keep it on. It help protect your truck against door ding. (Except if the vehicle is higher then your side step)

 

Yesterday afternoon I replaced the intake air filter with a KN. Immediately noticed a difference just pulling out of the parts store parking lot. The difference was a bit more than what the truck ran like after switching to 89 octane from 87.

 

Finally managed to get a set of sliders. I've hardly seen anyone running RSG metalworks sliders except for a few 4Runner guys. Decided to give them a try and they seem awesome! They shipped powder coated in 6 weeks and came perfectly wrapped up in separate boxes which was nice. Wanted a super clean and simple set and these delivered! Found a random discount code on google for $100 off too which was nice.

 

just installed my RSG sliders I got as well! Was super happy with how it turned out. That bolt and plate furthest forward in the frame was a real PITA tho! yours look great!

 

Someone beat me to it but here is a pic of the passenger side holder for miscellaneous items that I purchased on AliExpress. Note, I used Velcro to attach since the default installation with the double sided tape will prevent the removal of the top centre console.
