I put the cheapest QuickStops I could buy from Pep Boys on my truck and they warped so bad within a year the truck shakes when braking. I want to do the Tundra Brake Upgrade with the shiny slotted rotors, but I’d like to do it with Brembo. I don’t want to get a cheap Chinese kit for my truck.

Is everyone still using the Callahan kit? I’d like to get some Brembo rotors but not sure what size exactly I need. I have an Amazon gift card I’d like to use.

I have 6-lug 17” rims, will spacers be required to make the upgrade work?

Slotted should be fine but if you do any offroading I'd stay away from drilled. No idea if spacers are ever required, but that would be based on caliper and wheel backspacing, not rotor

This page has a great step-by-step guide (with pics) on the upgrade, as well as links to all the parts needed (at varying price points).

IMO, OEM is best for the pads and rotors, but for the calipers you shouldn't pay the premium. Get them from your local parts store (ideally) or Amazon, which will give a lifetime warranty in case you ever need to replace them (esp. on the trail).

Also, don't forget a good brake line kit - can make a lot of difference in brake pedal feel. Plus, the Tundra calipers are designed for hard lines to connect to them, not for a banjo bolt like on Tacomas, so it's good to swap over. If you get red powder coated calipers, you can get matching brake lines too, which is cool.

You should be just fine with the wheels; nearly all 17's fit. This page has a list of known wheels that do fit for sure (but mostly focuses on 16", since that's where the line is.)

If you want to buy a Callahan kit, you want one of these two:
I grabbed both of these links from the step-by-step that I already pasted above, just fyi.
