Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

I'm trying to work up the motivation to get to the gym but the -35 windchill isn't helping any!

For those keeping score at home, our last day in NSB was 85.

 

A little New Year's Eve shop cleanup to get the new year started right next week.

 

Shane's a good painter. Get him to do that door.

 

When you guys find a mess like this- what do you normally do? I've known previous coworkers/old millwrights who'd simply sweep them all in the metal bin without a second thought. I prefer to go through them and put away the good ones and toss the bad ones.

 

The place is going to look so fuckin nice when your done you’re going to change your mind or sell it and say I was an idiot for selling it

 

Send them my way. A bench grinder gets them kinda sharp for what I do.

 

Sharpen the dull ones and keep them all

 

I'll probably do that with the ones larger than 1/2 in. We have a company come in and restock our hardware and drill bits every couple weeks up to that size.

Maybe magnets but the screw it urge is overwhelming.

 

I have more than enough. I was just screwing around. I have plenty.
I someone else needs them fine. I gave 1/2 what I had to my boy

I pick them up put them in a plastic container .

No matter some employees have no respect for company tools .

If no one asks about drill bits If I am really bored I might put them away in a few months .

Take them and release them in the wild on my work bench at home.

After all they might help you save some time on the regular daily emergency.
