Between Thursday (holiday) and Friday (also a holiday) and the 12 hr shifts at time-and-a-half I’ll log 52 hours…sucks to be working on New Years but it’ll be almost a week of comp time

 

Eff this week and 12 hour shifts with no lunch break.

 

I was outside last night and heard a loud boom. A huge Doug Fir branch broke and hit the neighbors truck. Watch out for widow makers! This was right next to the sledders too.

 

Agreed, however it’ll be 36 hours of PTO

 

Yesterday was a particularly shitty day at work as I had to stay late to diagnose and fix a technician’s eff up after hours. In the end it wasn’t so bad but I am really glad to be done with this week (work wise).

I think the issue is most people fill up their garage with a bunch of stuff so their cars don’t fit anymore. Workbenches, gym sets, bikes, fridges, etc.

For being a free car, it turned out all right. Between maintenance and what not over the last 2.5yrs I've onwed it, and now $500 for a tow bill, it's only cost me less than $1500 to date. Not bad IMO. I did become attached to it though. Would like to find another one.

 

well that really sunk since you last texted me. I was Wondering why we didn’t try to winch it out…now i know.

The motor may have been salvageable, but would have required more time and space than I currently have at my disposal. Todd's towing owns it now.
