I haven't seen any information on whether after replacing the accelerator pedal assembly, any updating of the truck's cpu is necessary for the new pedal to be recognized. With everything computerized these days, I never know if the engine computers self-learn or if external equipment is required to properly install a part. Thanks in advance for any help.

There's no relearn on the APP Sensor that I'm aware of, as long as you got a quality part and that was the problem you should be able to install it, clear the codes, and go.

    Plug and play.

    What's wrong with it?

The pedal housing assembly cracked but still worked, but I wanted to replace it before it gave me problems. I purchased a Toyota part from an on-line Toyota dealer, so it should be good. If it's plug & play then that's great. I just wanted to check with some of the contributors in the Forum to be sure. Thanks so much everyone !
