Nah. It was a Tahoe. Flashed him a couple times and threw up the bird. I'm sure it didn't do anything.

since when do lights have to have covers
    news to me

    this makes no sense
how is a mainbeam headlight any different
aux lights simply point in different directions
if they are for use off road it means it is turned off in public, and manually operated with a button from inside
buying extra covers and climbing out to install them seems stupid

and to actually take time out of the day to pull someone over for having a light mounted and turned off
    insane

for some people off road isn't a 5 hr drive to a dune, but simply turning off onto a trail, where climbing out to manually do things instead of a button is pretty time-wasting

gotta love it when tons of people drive with high beams on at night blinding others and never get pulled over

After seeing all the messages about lights being on I’m seeing it everywhere. I never really noticed it before and now every other time I drive I see some Tacoma with every damn yellow light on imaginable.

I don't have any of that crap. I do however have side and rear white lights that are used in camp or backing up on trail.

You’re allowed 2 offroad lights under your headlights (specific inches from ground) uncovered; anything neeed to have covers per the code
I have 30 in. Light bar and 4 pods so mine are covered at all times but the 2 amber pods because I used to have them on a strob function
