Hello everyone. What you're looking at is my 2006 double cab, Toyota Tacoma 4x4 TRD. Previously "Ninjaexplosions" Tacoma which I purchased in late 2016.
I bought this truck with 124+++ miles and was told the urd stage1 kit was installed at approximately 114+++ miles. This truck had (and still has) a twin stick Inchworm crawl box installed by the original owner which I've replaced the detent springs to the H/D ones when doing the clutch. Ninja hired Krypton garage to install the supercharger. I am now the third owner of this vehicle.
Since I've owned the vehicle the pickup has become full stage two as far as the supercharger and clutch. We have URD long tube headers, offroad y-pipe and 3" catback with resonator, smaller pully and fully tuned by Scott and Gadget with UnderdogRacing. URD stage two clutch with (heavy) flywheel. It has the throw out bearing sleeve fix (not) the hydraulic kit as they were on backorder at the time. I replaced the URD speed shifter with Hurst and it's much better now.
Honestly I absolutely love this truck. Everything works (Now) and if it was practical to keep it I would. It has 140,335 miles on it now. The new clutch has a modest 200 of those miles. It hasn't been registered currently due to working on it and trying to keep the miles down while repairing and paying it off. I now am proud to say I own "my precious" lol and well under 150k miles.
I put a temp tag on mon dec 27th and drove it mon - wed 175 miles on and off-road. Thursday the wife and I took it to emissions here in maricopa county AZ and she passed flawlessly (The pickup not my wife).
Unfortunately priorities are catching up quickly in life and its time for me to adult some. My wifes and my DDs need work along with our home and property. I just can't justify putting much more in the truck nor letting it sit while I remodel my home and fix other vehicles.
To clarify the Tacoma isn't perfect. Here's a list of needs..
Front upper and lower ball joints
    CV axles
    Tierods
    Rear break shoes (maybe drums)
    Steal braided brake lines
No thats not that bad. And if I can't get a reasonable $ for it I'll keep it. However it's a good stopping point.
My thought process is....it needs JBA UCAs. The Tundra steering rack also looks like a good choice for this particular machine. So why replace any front end components with oem. The next owner is at the point they can go the cheapest route like I would. New JBAs, replace lower b/joints and go with factory cv axles and tierods. If I do this the warranties will be void for the new owner. Then there's the more expensive route, Tundra steering upgrade with full long travel or straight axle. All depends on what you want and how much $ you make.
