    Hello all!

I've been a fan of Tacomas since the 90's. I bought a 2012 Tundra back in August 2014 thinking I needed the space and a V8. Had it lifted in November 2015.

    12Tundra.jpg

Suspension was deteriorating and the tires and alignment were all shot to hell after 7 years. I loved my Tundra, but I thought it was time for an upgrade, so I traded it in for a 2019 Raptor.

    Raptor.jpg

The Raptor was everything I wanted in a truck. I get a letter in the mail about a recall for the cam phasers. I decided to check the service history of the Raptor and it turns out that the previous owner had it in for the same issue a while back. The rattle every time I started the truck was annoying. I didn't pay that much a Raptor for it to rattle. My 9 year old Tundra never rattled. 3 months go by and I decided to trade in the Raptor to save myself from all the repair headaches in the future for a brand new 2021 Tundra TRD Pro in Lunar Rock.

    21Tundra.jpg

I really wanted white, but there were no more white Tundra TRD Pros, or any other color, left in Houston. I really hated this color, but I really love the Tundra. After driving it for a month, I realized that the Tundra TRD Pro was just an SR5 with Fox suspension. It was really a downgrade from my 2012 Tundra Platinum besides the Fox suspension. A lot of my friends and coworker love the color, but they're not the ones that have to live with it. My friend bought a 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro back in June and I really liked it. I searched for a Tacoma TRD Pro in Houston and found a preowned 2019, so I traded in my Tundra for it.

The Tacoma had the Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Assist, and Parking Assist that I wish the Tundra had. I am finally happy with my decision.

This is how she sits as of 1/1/22.

Those are all good-looking trucks but that white with the black wheels and flares looks great!

Thanks! I’ve seen some Tundras that try to duplicate the Tacoma’s styling and just looks silly.

Thanks! I’m probably going to get the Eibach springs for it and be done for a while. I have 2 other cars in the garage that I want to buy parts for too.

Truck looks good. I have a ‘19 pro and in the market for new tires. Are those 265/70/16? If so, I’ll go that route. Considering getting KO2 but slightly bigger,
275/70/16. Any thoughts from the group?
    Thanks.

Thank you! The 265/70R16 BFGoodrich All Terrain are sold out in my area so I went with 285/75R16 instead. It rubs a little, but I’m hoping a little lift will take care of it.

Thank you! At least I got to say I owned a Raptor. Also realized that a Tundra TRD Pro is just an SR5 with Fox Suspension. I might end up getting a used white Tundra TRD Pro later on, but I'm pretty happy with my Tacoma now.
