    I am unhappy to report... that is the case! Installed my HUD the other day and it powers up for about 10sec and then goes dark... repeated tries yield the same result. Not sure if it is a HUD issue or the way the OBD port functions. Communication attempted, but so far no response (I have been reminded I need to be patient because its a holiday weekend)... kinda like I was patient for the 18 months since I ordered it!

    Hoping its an issue that can be remedied... and hope others don't have the same issue!

    Maybe the OBD output pins got rearranged from 2016 vs 2020. She, who shall not be named, only tested it on her 2016, so it works as far as she is concerned. Ugh.

    Just like the grab handle. Install goes good on her rig.

    I paid $206 I think... Its been so long ago... honestly I wrote it off as a loss a while ago. Disappointed but hope there is a fix!

    That's a good call. Because honestly she's not refunding anything or coming up with a solution. My guess is the electronic gurus in here will get it working.

    You can just go to any auto store in your area and pick up a better quality hardware and not have to wait for delivery.

    Edit: Sorry misread.....you want the grab handle too. Unfortunately the grab handle is not available in auto stores.:D

    I don't have high hopes of this issue being solved by KTJO. I've been trying to contact them since early December when the HUDS finally came in. I haven't tried mail. Maybe I'll send her a letter!

    Any chance you, or any others with this issue have a tune installed? I remember reading when they were being developed that the HUD wouldn't work with tuned trucks.

    The idea that the OBD2 port pin has changed over the years sounds like a good place to start. Anyone have wire diagrams?

    Issues with the Tune? That would be wild.

    The only thing that I know is that the redline on Tuned Tacos will be wrong. 6,300 on ATs and 7,250 on MTs.

    Guess you should only buy her products if you have the same year truck as her. At least that way you have a better chance that it will work.

    I received a message on Facebook that 2018+ need a new harness.... "it's on the way to us now"... meaning I guess it is shipping from China to them. No telling when it will get to customers.
