If I didn’t already have a Ryobi 3/8 impact I’d have done this as well, I’m getting tool poor as it is.

Had a few sheckles left over from the holiday, so while I wait for the M12 stubby impact kit, I picked these up. M12 right angle impact and 2 3.0AH batts. Interested to see how the right angle impact compares to the stubby. The head on the right angle is half the width of the stubby and only 30lbs less breaking torque. Will be interested to see how it stacks up against the ratchets as well...

I saw box at HF today, looks and feel very nice, when I buy a larger roll cart I will defiantly look at this one.

Its a really nice impact, Ive got both the 3/8 stubby and the 3/8 right angle, The stubby is definatly stronger so I use it more but the angle is great for when theres not much room.

Harbor Freight currently has floor jack on sale, you can add Daytona coupon to it additionally, I'm insider track so I got 20% off which brought it to less then $100 including tax. It does pick up the stock 4x4 Tacoma but is fully extended, I will probably toss a 2x4 on top so it goes a littler higher.
I was going to buy the 3 ton floor jack but this was to good a deal for me to pass up.

What a day. I’ve had a chunk of bar grate sitting on saw horses for a few years now, I want my saw horses back for wood projects. Today I went and bought steel to make legs and a few other things.
$5 a cut so I loaded up the cordless Ryobi grinder with a fresh battery, grabbed a few cut off discs, fresh blade in the old blue Ryobi sawzall, and a couple extra batteries, not knowing exactly what I’ll be able to get, haven’t seen most recent price sheet…..
Got to the steel place, made my choices dropped $300 and went out to get loaded.
Pulled spare tire out of trailer and set it on tongue, set both grinder and sawzall on tongue waiting for guy to come out with product.
3x3x3/16, 1.5x1.5x3/16, 1/2” round stock and a 4x8sheet of 14ga. The sticks were 20ft so I cut them down, sawzall made quick work of it all.
Tossed it in the bed of the truck with my gloves and boogied on……
Wasn’t til I was home and had got back around to start measuring and cutting I went to look for the grinder…. And the spare…. :censored::censored::censored::censored:

It was dark when I got started. I’ll go look in the morning but not hoping for a lot.

    Load of steel

$200 in grinders and 2 batteries, needed to replace the battery grinder I lost as I use it on my service van often.
    $48 for the brushless cutoff/grinder
    $60 for 7” Ridgid grinder 15amp
$22 for the 4.5” long handle grinder 7.5amp
    2 recon 4ah batteries $30ea
Directtools.com outlet store not far from me.
Ryobi, Rigid, some Milwaukee and another brand I can’t remember.
Blemished tools (battery grinder) carry manufacturer warranty lifetime if registered.
    Recon/Referb 1yr date of purchase.

At least half new price at box stores (Rigid grinder is $129 @HD)
If I used them enough to warrant high dollar I wouldn’t bother. 7FFE3DFA-6D42-42E2-A317-85FAB2130D10.jpg

Anyone recommend a disk brake caliper spreader? Just looking to expand my tools, and make task easier.

Obviously, if I’m looking for a spreader than I know that there are other ways of pushing back certain calipers, like using a c-clamp, tongue and grove plier or old brake pad and pry bar, etc. I get it. Just looking to increase my efficiency.

some one who has a lot of time and money. not that he's wrong, but a lot of those hacks are expensive. PVC used to be cheap, not so much anymore (I've been looking for alternatives for power tool storage in my work van)
I'm in dire need of shop clean up and organization, and will implement a lot of his hacks, its just gonna take a LOT of time to make it happen.

Definitely agree there. I did what I could with what I had; time and money wise.
