    Hi all,

First post here - Wondering if anyone knows of some good mounts for a 270 degree awning that will connect directly to the Leer camper shell that have the Thule tracks? I am attempting to avoid a roof rack and hoping there are mounts made for an awning that are direct mount.

    Thanks all in advance!

Canopy, fitted seat covers, OBA with self leveling air bags, 100w solar, dual Rhino Rack Pioneer platforms, side & rear LED work/FU lights, CB, cell booster. 7x16 cargo conversion, 3" lift, 7'x6.5' fold down aluminum rear deck.
While a simple awning mounting bracket (reinforced L bracket) would technically be able to mount it with just T slot bolts, it would pose a few issues. Without a crossbar/basket/platform to mount to, it would be focussing all the stress on a narrow point of contact. Not just the static load of the awning sitting there while parked, but also the dynamic load of the awning while driving down the road and when the awning is extended and catches a breeze.
I don't particularly like the look of the standard roof rack with crossbars that have stuff held to them with U bolts holding stuff to them. So, on my tundra, I am mounting a Rhino Rack Pioneer platform with low profile mounts to keep it as low as possible.
