I decided to buy a new bike this summer. Im 99% sure its gonna be a 08 or newer Yamaha R1 (black). Ive owned 2 Gsxr's (600 & 1000). After owning a 1000 with work done I'll never own anything less.

Who has a R1? pros vs cons?

I like the r1.I've owned 3 gsxrs in the past.the r1 in the next choice. A couple of guys I ride with have them and would never ever ride another bike.i rode one kids 2001 r1 and I wasn't that impressed with its power.I know its a little older.new ones are sick.

I've always liked them and heard good things so it's time for me to start riding again and the R1 is my choice. The new ones look really good and are very quick!
