+1 to hippo hands. they look dorky but work so well

 

Just picked up this bike yesterday, I have always wanted one and couldn’t pass it up. It needs some work and some finishing touches but it’s a good winter project since my sled is sitting on the trailer because the north east has squat for snow!

 

I feel your pain. I haven’t been able to see the road in front of my house since before Christmas I’m hoping the roads clear by the time the Navi comes. Really don’t want to bring it home on the hitch carrier haha

 

And to think I didn’t wanna ride in 43ish weather with clear blue skies...although the “feels like” was in the 30s.

 

Nice X-1! I put a few miles on them when they first came out. Lot of fun but just not enough to make me upgrade from my S-2.

Yep, it’s great to see. Now if only Yamaha would release a street legal 450.

 

That one looks exactly like the T7

 

They definitely wanted it to be a direct competitor to the T7. I still like the T7 better.

 

Add to that Yamaha has a much larger dealer network here in the US should something go wrong.

 

Triumph just had it's Tiger sport 660 come out. Will interesting to see if they do a 660 adv. Read rumors they might. The Triumph sport 660 is priced around the T7. The Aprilia is 3k more than the T7, most likely bc of the electronic farkles it has over the T7.

 

And because its British.

I want to see a Yamaha T9. Between the 7 and the 1200
