In Colorado you can drive a car on a paved road to 14130' on Mount Evans auto route. Pikes Peak road goes to 14115', it's been 30+ years since I've been up there. It was dirt/gravel for a portion, but has been fully paved since 2011.

The memorable thing about the road in Ecuador, which is probably true in parts of India, Peru, Bolivia and other countries, was that this 13550’ pass was on a major National highway. Lots of traffic, semi-trucks, buses etc. Plus 4 cylinder Chevy Aveo taxis with a full load of 5 or 6 people. My own Taco has only been up to about 10000’.

Bagged another state high point today, 4 in 2 days in 1 Tacoma is almost certainly a record.

I’ll have a 5th by the end of the week, High Point, New Jersey is both cleverly named and driveable as well. Point Reno in DC is 3 hours south, that kinda counts.

You have to fight sheer distance. Panorama Point seems to be drivable so you can summit Nebraska, but it’s 6 hours from Lincoln. My trip yesterday was 6 hours total and included 3 states, some off-road shenanigans and a meal. But your “flat” state has a taller high point that the Mountain State.

I think Nebraska has the highest non-mountain highpoint. I went to Panorama point before I had my Tacoma, so maybe I need to revisit. Not many other drivable ones nearby though. Could hit Mount Sunflower 4 and a half hours away in close succession, but I think the best bet is the eastern states.
My personal record is 2 highpoints in 2 days, Oklahoma and New Mexico back in October. But those were hikes, my truck stayed at the trailhead.

You guys are cute driving your trucks up these roads. Not saying I did what I did on purpose. We left Blue Mesa Reservoir and were told that Cottonwood Pass was a beautiful drive and could go see Taylor Park Reservoir (this is August, btw). Turns out that Cottonwood was closed, and being a man, I wasn't about to turn around. Checked the map, and saw Cumberland Pass on the map, wife agreed, and we headed that direction on the gps. Well, turns out Cumberland is a nice little road that slowly turns into a beast made for ATV's and let's say "built" off-road vehicles. Obstacles and switchbacks and not built for what I had behind the Taco. Being new to trailering (this is 2019), I wasn't confident enough to turn around in REALLY tight spots, but also a bit too stubborn to turn my ass around when I could have or should have. Anyway, there I was with the trailer, wife and dog on top of the pass. And still had to get our asses down of the pass and go home. Turns out, we spent the majority of the day going up and over the pass, ended up about 5 miles down from where we started and that took us all of about 5 hours...memories. I just did the research, 27 state’s high points can only be reached on foot with varying degrees of difficulty. 18 are paved to the top, including DC which I'm counting. And 6 have dirt roads to the summit, I think Maryland is the only one that would need a high clearance vehicle.

And to the other guy, this thread already blew it's load on the first page, the rest is just vanity shots and shitposting.

You took that travel trailer off road? Wow. Do you have before and after pics of your trailer's frame? I have been following a few lawsuits owners have brought against manufacturers.

Wasn’t exactly breaking any records. We were probably averaging about 4 mph up & down the pass. The trailer has taken worse trying to get in & out of our boondocking sites lol.

The view of Buffalo Mountain Dillon/ Silverthorne Colorado never disappoints. Lived in Summit County Co from 1993 till 2019. Miss that view from my backyard deck. Couldn't live at 9100 feet any longer, it happens.
