Installed smoked amber raptor lights and some Matt Gecko underhood lighting over the holidays. Still got a couple other things to do, just have to find the time. Also got a custom plate:cool:

Ihad bought an iceco jp30 about a yr ago (found YouTube code) and have used it on a few long trips. I’m happy with it for my occasional family use but the way I secure it not so much and been wanting to get there specific slide, just not at 200.

Look at that 4x4 block spacer and half ass tie down- bothers me to look at

Throughout the whole yr during every promotion/holiday nothing applied for slides and Xmas eve just happened to check the saved listing in Amazon (iceco direct ship) and it had a click here button for 15% off. Today it came in… just not the right one

Kinda can’t wait because I have some flat aluminum bars I’ll secure under the mat then slide on top (that way I can remove frig and slide when not in use). Splurged on the blue seas voltmeter for the small cubby to go along with the arb 12vsocket. So I’ll have to finish buttoning up the wiring for that location. I’ll add one of those 2or 3 plug panels.

Its a pretty simple install if you choose it to be. I got the warm white LEDs and it comes with 2 strips of leds, enough wire to do the install and a switch. I have an auxiliary fuse panel so i wired to that instead of the battery with an inline fuse. I drilled a hole in my hood to run the wire through my hood, i can get install pictures if you would like?

Those look great! I pre-ordered mine a couple months ago. I thought they pushed up the shipping date. Glad to see they’re available now. I’ll have to go check my mailbox and see if they’ve gotten here yet. Love the look of those and the fact it allows the backlight to illuminate through them. Nice!
Edit: I ordered mine on October 28th but they don’t ship until January 15th.

Still waiting for my Soft Topper? They gave it to Fed-X 5 days ago and it has moved only 29 miles? To bad it has 1,290 more miles to go a 18 hour trip going to be a long wait. Now Fed-X said no delivery date yet? Makes you wonder why a company would use them for shipping there stuff they sell? Kind of gives them a bad name, they take forever then there shipper dose the same thing to you?

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
I've been seeing that a lot the last 3 months. I have an account and their app to track. Sometimes things just disappear into the ether but suddenly pop up at your house before the data catches up.

FedEx has been the best for me for the last 2 years. USPS Priority Mail the same. UPS has been the absolute suckfest for travel time and then to top it of, my neighborhood is the LAST thing they hit on this route. The go right by my 'hood twice to distant sites on the other side of town, then come through mostly at about 6 p.m. or later. It pisses me off to no end.

Let the shipper know that Fed Ex sucks. I recently had a package that was on Fed Ex vehicle for delivery all day and didn't show up. later that evening I checked tracking and it said "Delayed due to weather". This could not have possibly been a bigger lie. It was bright and sunny all day. Fed Ex sucks and I cringe every time i see them as the shipper.

One of my Captains and a Chief Warrant Officer served together on the USS NEW JERSEY, both were Cannon Cockers. A title bestowed on those who would wrap their elbows and knees with rags in order to crawl from breech to barrel tip. CO is now retired, RADM Robert Katz, and the CWO, CWO4 Dan Trevino, passed away from brain cancer.

Welpt, first time my Taco’s left me stranded.:( Parking brake is froze solid. Tried rocking back and forth in reverse, even dropped to 4LO, won’t break free. Called the dealer, mechanic said it’s a know issue. Don’t use the parking break when it’s below freezing.:facepalm:They said heat gun/hair dryer the rear drums, or wait for it to go above freezing. Oh well, life goes on I guess…

Well I assume the hair dryer / heat gun is better than leaving a bed of charcoal under your truck... I've seen that dumpster fire - literally - too many times... I'd be sitting in my seat at Shea. (There was parking visible in the outfield.) I'd see white clouds of smoke appearing from what seemed to be the back of a truck. Then the smoke gets black. Then you see the flames. And then the fire trucks show up... I sometimes have to ask, "What were they thinking?"

If that pic is fresh, the sun should help, too.

Damn, that sucks. Thanks for posting this though. I've always lived in moderate climate areas. And even when I've visited colder climates, I've never had this happen, so it never would have occured to me. Will definitely keep your experience stored in my memory bank when applying the e-brake out in the snowy snow.
