So…I have multi year tags on three trailers, you pay $90 and that’s it when you get the plate, non transferable if you sell the trailer. If you plan to keep it, it’s a great deal. One of them I’ve had for 22 years, the other 5, etc. I got a letter the other day from the county tax department with those 3 trailers and asking if I still had them, it says I’ll be getting a tax bill in 2022 for them

I see some large tools/tool holders/fly cutters/slotting saw in the background, what are you using those in?

Buddy of mine picked up an old mill and he had me come check it out, came with a bunch of Garr Tool carbide end mills, drills etc....

I said "man thats a ton of nice carbide!"
he says "you can have whatever"

Me tearing up because my mill is a total wiener and couldn't push 7/8 of those tools into aluminum let alone high speed through steel or titanium!

Edit: This is what I determined was feasible in my little mill, except for that 6" long .375 end mill, that one will probably un-tram my mill but YOLO
This is a fraction of the carbide that what was with it and it was the smallest stuff.

@RustyGreen One of the mechanics we use had just bought this, some reason I thought of you. :D

Gonna get it running and daily drive it. Last inspection was 7/1997

That’s a nice pile you acquired

I use most of the tools in that photo in our 3 axis bed mill.

We have 2 other mills we use from time to time. We’re a small shop, me and one other guy in the shop. He runs our lathes. I do our milling and welding, we do a lot of prototype work, which I love.
