06 Cali Raised 32" Recessed Light Bar Install

I bought this light kit for my son for Christmas. Before purchasing, I watched a video on the CR site thinking it was for his 06. Only now have I figured out their installation video is for 2016 and up. I was not able to find any info for his truck using Search on this site. But I don't frequently visit here, Does anybody know a good install video to make this go easier since I will be doing most of the work? CR wasn't much help when I called them .They sent me to a video on Youtube which required removing the front bumper to get this light installed. I am hoping that's not the way. Bumper? Or do you mean the grille? I can't speak for the 06, but for my 2015 I removed the grille (very easy, similar to the video for the 2016+ but no radar or wind deflectors) and I did not remove the bumper. It's a tight fit to wiggle the light bar down there. Get the light loosely in place before getting the brackets in place, and don't tighten any of the mounting hardware until everything is set.

I can't see the link, but I only removed the grille. Once you get that off, you will see how much room/access you have and it's not too bad a job. Good luck!
