@Speedytech7 or others, how difficult/expensive would it be to CNC aluminum down to this shape? I'm this close to buying the cheapest 4-axis machine I can find and start producing these. Can't believe nobody's done it yet

 

He's already at work. There's going to be a bill upon delivery.

 

They make metal ones now

 

They do but not the part that actually breaks which is the hinge molded into the handle. I was excited at first too

Started framing the doorway. Ran out of wood. $6 2x4's are really starting to add up.

 

I mean the substrate is ceramic so 50/50

 

That would be a really wasteful part to produce the way it's shaped. I'd expect small batch to be $165+ per part.

 

I once dropped a knock sensor. Then I forgot that I dropped it until after I installed it and it didn't work. I would think that O2 sensors are a little less delicate.
