    Hey all!
Just picked up a 2022 Off Road DCSB!
Totalled a 2005 4runner and the market was so bad a new truck was the best financial move. Lucky to have found one at MSRP.
Happy to join and hoping to contribute to the community.

As we were moving from SF Bay to Tacoma area 1 week after the accident I instantly added a RSI SmartCap to help move items... and because SmartCap! Put seat covers in the back for the dog. Ordered some BHLM HID headlights from @no vtec 4me which are almost here. Install/ mount kit for my Baja SAE Amber Fogs. Track Mount from Expedition Essentials. And working on getting the KDMAX Pro Tune as I don't like how the truck drives. Have in hand some ICON Ext. Travel 2.5 VS RR Coilovers and 2.0 VS RR for the rear. Hoping to add the ICON RXT and some UCAs then on to some bigger rubber.

So far the tacoma has done great in the weather which is quite a change from SF!IMG_2761.jpgIMG_2469.jpgIMG_2395.jpg

Beautiful truck, welcome to the Taco team. As you know the sky is the limit with these trucks, so many possibilities. Enjoy the ride and experience.

Thanks Brian! I've already found myself lying to everyone about keeping upgrades to a minimum... then I get on a thread and add 10k worth of goodies to my list! Can't wait to get out on some trails and work the 4x4!

We are all glad bodily damage was relatively minimal given that both vehicles were totaled out. happy to join the TW team officially :)

Welcome. Remember, Toyota says it’s normal to any of your issues with the truck.

I think so too! Catching up on 17 years of tech, even toyota tech, is quite a learning curve!

First thing I added was the RSI Smart Cap. I've heard good things about them, love the look, and plan to use a roof tent down the road so the extra weight capacity was a plus. Having moved to Washington state in the middle of winter I have not noticed any leaks though the locks definitely freeze... looking in to covers for them. IMG_2503.jpg

Got some Bartact seat covers for the rear as the dog will be back there and she can get DIRTY!
I got these off CL as I needed them quickly and was very impressed with the material and ease of install. While gray was not my first choice I think they look really good now that they are in. IMG_2505.jpg IMG_2505.jpg IMG_2505.jpg IMG_2505.jpg
