    Hi there All

    On my last service I was told that my lug nuts are swelled and needs to be replaced. Is this true

    Hey John,

    Show us some photos of your swollen lug nuts, maybe we can help.

    Lug nuts can chip and rust from tire rotation. It's not a bad idea to replace them if it looks worn out.

    Is it true yours are? Maybe. You should be able to remove a couple and easily tell.

    Yes , I replaced all of mine on my 1st gen. Picked them up at Discount tire for 40 bucks.

    The key beyond matching the threads is the TYPE of lug nut. The TYPE needs to match your wheel.

    Examples: Mag, conical, acorn, ball.........

    After that, its aesthetics.
