    These sales figures are eye opening. My guess is that Toyota would have had trouble meeting demand even without the supply chain issues.

    I see more 1/2 ton F series on the road than I do Tacomas, not including Super Duty.

    If you say average each Taco sales at modest $ 35, 000.

    That's some good coin. :spending:
    $ 8, 750, 000, 000. 00

    It would appear that lots of people don't like the newer generation of disposal vehicles that auto makers are trying to sell us. Older school Toyota's selling like hot cakes.

    I bet 50% is attributed to Hawaii sales alone

    A bank buys the vehicle and provides the lease to the consumer, so it is a sale. Toyota sold the vehicle. It is another form of financing.

    Yes, the F-series is the #1 selling vehicle in the US and I believe the majority of that would be the 1/2 ton. The Tacoma leads in mid-size sales but is maybe 1/3 of the F-series total sales.

    If I could’ve found one that didn’t have a market adjustment, I would’ve traded mine in for a new one

    I think most of the sales were made before the craziness started. The dealers made the record profit with the mark up.

    My local dealer had their best year in 21', very hard to believe when you go there they have little to no inventory. I agree stealerships will be moving to a new order/allocation model and our negotiating ability will be gone.

    Its becoming abundantly clear....instead of accessories we should be buying Toyota Motor shares! Might as well make $ off ourselves as shareholders!
