    Big no, and I'd def put that dealer on the never buy from again for doing this shit. I had dealers in Ma try this and I will never go to them for service or sales again, hoping others follow. Maybe it'll prevent the market adjustment.

    Took me about 6 weeks from contacting the dealer to getting the truck.

    Definitely talk to different dealers, the first two I talked to did nothing for me.

    All that said, at signing the dealer offered to help me flip it and make $5k the next day....tempting but that put me back at the bottom of the list and I wanted it now!

    This is exactly what I think is happening. Ordered a LR TRDOR Manual w/premium 10/18/2021 and still nothing yet. I’m tempted to take any color at this point. Sucks.

    I took a Sport in December instead of OR that I have been waiting for since July.
    Lost crawl control and locker (would use them once a year), gained Advanced Tech package, which I use every day. And the SCOOP!!! Adds 100 cool points.

    The dealer I placed my order with, took my CC info for a $500 deposit, but never charged it. If I decide to leave will they charge it? I have nothing in writing about my order besides an email thread.

    Anyone jumped dealers and had to them charge for a deposit?

    @JackJoachim When I put in my allocation request, my dealer took my card *and did charge* the $500 that day. Provided me with a copy of the allocation request sheet and a receipt. He said it was refundable, however, if I don't buy the truck... but I don't actually see that part in writing. YMMV.

    • Nov. 26 – Temp VIN disappeared on vehicle information lookup.
    • Jan. 6 – Received
    64 days (2 months, 3 days) from a SE Toyota dealer
