Installed a cheap $20 wifi front camera which connects to my phone via wifi.
Very easy setup, connect to my USB adapter that I have plugged in and ran the wire to camera (tried to keep it hidden as much as I could) which is installed in my new trd pro grill. Lets me see everything in-front of the truck 2ft out.

Here is why it is a good idea to disconnect the battery when doing interior lights. The map lights, dome light, and backlights in the truck are controlled via a floating ground. This means that the 12v+ side is always live. So if the light is turned off, it still has 12v+ to it, it just doesn't have any ground. That creates a situation where arcing can easily occur. Just FYI.

Finally have the bed covered with the Alu-Cab Explorer canopy! Very impressed with the build quality and how easy it was to install. It took the help of a friend to get aligned, but overall it only took about an hour (I was in a rush and haven't done the lighting). Won't be fitting a box this big in the bed again any time soon.

    COOL Stuff I can't afford . . . But I bought anyway!
Well, I started the attempt at my lift. I got as far as getting the wescott pro lift installed on the shocks. Sweat my b@lls with the spring compressors getting the springs off.

got the Eibach spring on, it’s about 1.75” taller than the stock fox spring. Managed to get it compressed enough to get the top hat on. But, to my dismay, there’s so much compression, the spring compressors got stuck in the spring.

so I went looking for a shop to install the spring instead. I stumbled upon an awesome shop in Sacramento Ca that specializes in only Toyota brands! Long story short, they going to do the entire lift in two weeks, Cmr, UCA’s, springs, pinch weld, alignment, 1” rear block, spring isolators, sway bar relocation, diff. drop and wheel tire balance and install for $1700.

I can’t complain, it can be better (someones it randomly closes the app and lags) but other then that its fine for now. I have noticed that the further away from crowded places I go the better it starts to work. Ill take it out to Hungry Valley here in socal to test it out and see how it holds up.

I was using the pole to see roughly where my tires would point to have a general idea. Ot has the reverse lines which would be great to see what your gna drive over but due to me grill sensor being in the middle I mounted the camera off to the side so those line are off and I cant find an option in the app to manually adjust them.

No oem cover for me, just a stock solution/attempt to elimate as much water intrusion with my canopy.
