JUst bought, time for preventive maintenance it has 240k miles on it!
Test driving what'll likely be my first Tacoma, its a 98 with almost 240k miles on it, AWD with extended cab and the V6. My buddy is getting on in years and I want to keep the truck around for our excursioning and I need a relatively inexpensive winter vehicle. Up til now I've only driven full size trucks, an the last two have been powestroke diesels so I am looking forward to starting preventive maintenance on this truck in hopes of getting another 240k miles out of it! Best regards, dp, Montagna lunga Colorado USA

    4WD not AWD.

Tacoma are great truck. Frame inspection, lower ball joint, timing belt/water pump, tcase/clamshell/third gear oil, transmission oil should be some the first thing you do
