The amount of people who need bigger radio knobs is astounding. There's like 20 posts here. There's volume controls on the steering wheel.

Can we have 20 posts discussing how the volume controls on the steering wheel have the wrong orientation? Most people think of turning the volume up and down and going back and forward with tracks/stations, so why aren’t the buttons laid out the same way?

Nice. I actually might install mine tonight. Still waiting on the RAM mounts however, got the rail the other day.

Totally. Just add it to the "what where the engineers thinking?" list for the 3rd Gen. It's a long list.

    EDIT:
Since we're on the subject, @MESO Any chance you want to build a mod that fixes the left side steering wheel audio controls?

For me personally -I use the steering wheel control’s while driving along to adjust the volume up & down tiny increments. But when I get to part’s of my journey that requires a lot of concentration with crazy traffic, I find that the knob let’s me turn the radio volume down very quickly. (Rav4 Knobs)

Sounds like something someone with small knobs would say

I would buy that in a heartbeat. I absolutely hate those control layouts.
Pretty much only 2 things I hate about my Tacoma that I can't change, those audio controls and not having auto headlights. Every other weird design choice I don't mind too much or have fixed in some way.

Mine has the auto headlights and honestly I'm unimpressed. They react a bit too fast, even flicking on and off traveling under a wide overpass. I just turned my headlights on permanently and problem solved. I have a list of other things that do annoy me about the truck that I'm slowly working through though but the two things I can't figure out how to change are the audio controls and how to retrofit OEM-grade full keyless functionality into the truck since Toyota decided MT's can't have that for some reason.

ARE topper. Mud guards, factory steps, third bed rail behind cab, tacorail accessory holder, ram mount tablet mount, hood wrap and retro stripes. Bug shield and window shields. Molle seat cover on tear seat.
Rescued my school teacher wife. School let out early but the 20 mile drive was too long for her Corolla and roads became bad. She parked at a grocery store 10 miles from home and we left the car there for now.
I put new Duratracs on the Taco back in November. They did great. Passed the snow plow in the ditch 4 miles from home.

    COOL Stuff I can't afford . . . But I bought anyway!
I would, only problem, I still have shocks on the truck. I bought a lightly used set of pro fox’s so I could get everything done and not have to take the truck apart while getting everything done. I’m just going to let the shop handle it. I’m paying for all the extra work anyway, and they’re putting the new UCA’s on too.
