I would pull the bulb to verify if you have H16.
Early years OR trim came with a glass housing for H11.
SR5, Sport had H16. You will need to replace the housing to use H11.

Bummer, looks like I've got the H16 on my 2022 TRD OF. So my only option is to replace the whole Fog light housing from an older Tacoma that uses an H11 in? Looks like I've got more research to do.

If the lense is a plastic, h11 is going to be too hot.
You may go to OEM Tundra/lexus led fogs. You can find them for cheap and they are decent.

Yep, its plastic. So do I buy the OEM Tundra/Lexus LED fogs from a dealership or is there another place to get them? And will be wiring still work with those?

Well, I was hoping I wouldn't have to spend $220. Lol I was hoping to find someone that has changed their stock fogs to LEDs and I could buy their older housing and put in some H11 Xenon.

They are plug and play. I usually buy from a dealer, but you can find them everywhere.
Search TW for part# (there is one for black and one for chrome) and shop around

I have stock fogs. LED variants from a TRD OR. The "good ones". PM me. Save you some money.

Spend the extra money on DD fogs. It's worth the extra money, I tried the bulb and housing dance on my truck and wasted a lot of time when the DD fogs blow anything else out of the water.

I dunno, they are good, but compared to the stock ones on my '22, they are about the same just yellow. I got the DD sports. I feel like maybe the pro's might have been the same but more likely the max's.

It's also why DD is working on (has been for months) the same setup as the stock ones we are referring to. They were supposed to be released last month, but still no updates. TBH, for the cost compared to these, I don't think they are really that much better. I also have a set of pro's for the ditch lights and same goes for them.

The SS3 Pro's on my truck put out way more light than any of the bulbs and housings I tired. I had both H16 and the glass H11 housings and ran, stock, H11 and H9 bulbs in each housing and none of them were anywhere near the light output as the DD lights. You can spend $100 now and buy another upgrade later or just buy once and cry once.

Picking some 2nd hand 3rd Gen H11 fogs is certainly an easy cost effective option. Checkout the market place section of the forum, people sell them all the time when upgrading to LED assemblies.

If going with an LED assembly, I'd recommend the Diode Dynamics SS3s over the OEM LED. You can get them in selective yellow which is far more useable in fog than 6000k. Checkout this thread that has almost all the fogs compared. You can see both the OEM LED output numbers and the SS3s. The OEMs are actually cheaper than $220, I think you can usually get them for about $140 online. But I'd strongly recommend paying a bit more for the SS3s. See the reviews linked at the top.

    Stock-ish
Can confirm, tried like 3 or 4 different bulbs in the stock fogs and later got ss3 sports. Just switched to the ss3 Pros and man what a difference.
