Finally put in some bed lights (Amazon special), tied them into the cargo light.

I did the same a few years back. Found out that the 4runner really didn't have much more usable room over the Tacoma, plus I lost the ability to haul things. Now I'm Back in a Tacoma! (My Tundra was way too large for our local parking stalls)

LOL! They weren't chrome. They were machined aluminum.

Installed three layers of sound deadening material. Generic type of dynamat, close cell foam, and mass loaded vinyl.

Only did floor, fire wall, and back for now. Doing doors soon soon, but I ran out of time.

Nice man, you're going to notice a HUGE difference, especially after doing the doors

I hope so. Definitely noticed a difference with just this but not as much as I hoped for.

Do you know if its worth doing the roof? It seems most people don't, or at least from what I've noticed, but i'm wondering if its out of laziness or if its not worth the effort.

“Time to do some sketchy stuff. Doo-Dah, Doo-Dah. Hope I get away with it. Doo-Dah, Doo-Dah.”

Did this before the holidays last month. Switched out the longer bolts supplied by Roofnest for the shorter ones supplied by Front Runner and added a third set of FRO rtt mounts at the back for more stability/support.

Note: one can use a floor jack, a couple jack stands and a length of 2 x 4 on the Diamondback cover for making adjustments on your bed rack / crossbars cargo.
