    That's what I was thinking...going OEM.

I might keep the ones taken off...or maybe not. Either way, I think the OEM LEDs are fantastic.

Thanks for the persuasion...didn't take much! lol

For those interested in both. The links say it does not fit my 2021 Tacoma TRD Sport. I contacted Sparks and they verified they do.

Note: I called the Toyota dealership in Easton and the parts guy quoted me over $4K for parts & labor. "You might as well trade it in", he said.

    Non-TRD Pro - $665.26 each
    https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-led-headlight-left-8115004290

    https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-led-headlight-right-8111004290

    TRD Pro - $665.26
    https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-headlamp-assembly-right-hand-trd-pro-8111004300

    https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-headlamp-assembly-left-hand-trd-pro-8115004300

    Wiring Harness -$106

    https://www.headlightrevolution.com/toyota-tacoma-oem-led-headlight-conversion_2?quantity=1

    $625.26 X 2 = $1250.52 + $106 = $1356.52

That's not cheap but it's WAY better than $4K+.

It's a very easy install. Think it took maybe 30 minutes a side. I bought my harness from a member on here for a little over $80.

It's good they sell both Non-TRD Pro & TRD Pro.

I want the Non-TRD Pro's since I have a Sport...don't want the word "Pro" on my Sport with all the TW police around here! lol

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt...lol!

I could use a noun in front of the verb, "hurt" but I don't talk that way...lol!

It's not too difficult. Everything is held together with plastic clips and a few bolts.

I saw the video you posted...I should install my TRD Pro grill/w Raptor lights while I have it off!

Wife doesn't know I bought it yet...and she did notice my TRD Skid but didn't blow a gasket. That's saying a lot. I better cool my jets for a bit before she flips a wig!!! lol

Yes, asking permission never works. She never notices anything I have added, or she just doesn't say anything. But, anytime I ask I always get do you really need that, why do you need that, is that necessary?

I don't see the problem treating yourself to something every now and then. As long as your bills and living expenses are covered and you're saving and investing for retirement, ect. However, if you have to charge or overextended yourself then don't. Wait till you can afford it or pick something within your budget.

I will say I had my truck for 5 years and never spent more than a few hundred on it until I bought the headlights, harness, and fogs. Given the inventory shortages and prices of new vehicles these days I decided to keep it for another 2-3 years and will consider buying another vehicle then. But until then, I'm upgrading a few things that I want and need that didn't come standard on my truck when I bought it new.

Don't fall into the trap of spending just because everyone else on the forums is buying stuff. Do what works for you.

Yep, your right about that. I just buy the best first, then don't have to worry about buying the same thing in a cheaper version more than once. Save money in the long run. Always pay cash or pay off the card before interest is accrued.
