There is a ton of research online I read for weeks learning as much as I could about 4 links. Busted knuckle and Jake burkey have a fantastic YouTube video as well breaking it down really good.

Then I knew I wanted 37 and 40s so I figured out what link seperation I wanted in my axle to mat h the tire size. Then I mounted my lower links making sure it clreaed the frame. Then I landed my upper links in an area that closely match the numbers I wanted for anti dive and squat and welded it in. I'm far from perfect as far as rock bouncers but I haven't seen a framed vehicle hit every measurement perfect without tons of work. Main thing is making sure it doesn't bind and reinforcing the frame.

Lots of large frame reinforcement plates....1/8" frame won't put up with link brackets just welded in. More link separation will help reduce the strain put on the frame side but there is still a seriously large amount of force there.

I’ll check that out. Busted Knuckle is only an hour and a half from here so I may plan a trip up there and see what I can learn. I’m just getting my feet wet. I grabbed a link calculator online to play with. Did you shorten your driveshaft or anything since you were a long bed?

I moved to Utah for a year and just moved back to Nashville. I absolutely love it out west, but had too much back here that made me want to come back.

Home is where the heart is right?

I’d love to move out west because Megan and I love to hike and do outdoor activities, but there’s just too much that keeps us here. Family, friends, and about 7 racetracks in a 5 hour radius :)

Correct. Family and friends brought me back. But I don’t regret my year in Utah for a single second. I loved it and am glad I did it before I got too tied down here.

I am absolutely clueless on how to start with doing a fuel cell. I read back through, but didn’t see anything on what adapters to use and how to hook everything up. Very little info I could find elsewhere. Does the evap system get nixed? Also, are y’all just cutting the exhaust off up front somewhere?

I used the factory sending unit in my fuel cell so I didn't have to adapt anything. As far as evap ky doesn't smog test so I just left it unplugged. @xweslingx may have done something different though. And exhaust I had a nice Flowmaster 44 but it got smashed and ripped off on a trail. Cut it off and haven't fixed it since.

They don’t test here either plus it’ll be a trailer queen. That being said, I’ll still keep a plate and keep the battery charged the old fashion way haha

Mine was hooked up and working. I had a T piece that made it all easier to keep hooked up.

I can’t seem to find any info on what specifically to buy. Looking at Summit. Any chance you guys remember what fittings or special things you needed to make it work?
